VICTORIAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND 3 WRAP UP

Written by

Round Three of the Victorian Champions League took place over the weekend and was definitely the closest round of matches across most competitions we’ve seen so far.

This first finals games kick off this weekend for the 2010/11 Victorian Champions League season.

The grand final of the 2010–11 FFV Under-20 Champions League pitted the Western Wolves against the North-East Diamonds at AAMI Park on Wednesday night as the curtain raiser to the A-League clash between Melbourne Heart and Gold Coast United.

After eight competitive rounds, three Regional Gala Weekends and over 450 matches, the Victorian Champions League's final round takes place this weekend.
In another brilliant weekend of Victorian Champions League, the round has finished up with some mixed results and plenty of high scoring games for teams as the season edges closer to the finale.  Once again, the opportunity to develop skills and build game time was the focus of the weekend for all players, as they continue to learn from some of the best coaches in Victoria and perform alongside and against the State’s top young football talent.
