Ian Crook today stood down as Head Coach of Sydney FC.
Sydney FC has signed two-time Australian World Cup midfielder Jason Culina for the remainder of the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season.
With all the publicity and fanfare surrounding the signing of Allesandro Del Piero, it would be not unnatural for the other Sydney FC players to believe there will not be much place in the sun for them during the upcoming A-League season.
Sydney FC has received a boost on the eve of the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League with experienced midfielder Paul Reid signing a one year contract with the Sky Blues starting on 1 October.
Mitch Mallia continued the good pre season form of the Sydney FC strikers with a second half equaliser as the Sky Blues drew 1-1 with Newcastle Jets in a friendly at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday afternoon.
